King Of Dreams is a huge asset to the breed - especially with that 9.2 size which is rather rare for Kees. happy :)

Here's hoping he passes that trait on to his offspring.
I think we need some higher traits in size, FQ and feet to be competitive for BIS.

Its nice to have a high dog for breeding, first for a long time, as I have been getting much better bitches than dogs before he came along. Have spent a fortune in stud fees as a result. I now have 3 95.00+ males (two quite young), although I class him as the best of them.

I'm excited about my litter sired by him. I am going to start working on feet as the trait improvement in my kennel. I agree with you, if we can get the last few traits that are behind up to speed we might have a really good shot at BIS

Agreed. It seems that judges like Wilfredo Feaster will our best chance - Analeyn Skyfall just placed 3rd In Show under him happy :)

I've been working on FQ for a while now, and the results are slow but promising. I have a dog with a 9.4 FQ which I am eager to use soon. Size and FQ are my main focuses for now.

Congrats on the 3rd in show happy :)

I have a 22 day bitch with 9.3 FQ, and two with 9.2 FQ.

One of the 9.2's, Faerie Dancing is now pregnant to King of Dreams. She also has 9.0 size, so I have my fingers crossed, for a nice pup.

Would like to post a brag about my boy... GCH Winterhearts Slenderman is currently #87 in All-Time Kees standings, #2 in all-time Grand Champion standings, and is up to 8 champion offspring. So happy with how he's done!

I also have quite a few studs listed. A few have sired multiple 95s.

Well done Winter Heart! All the best for the rest of his shows - he is very close to surpassing the current top GCH Keeshond, who I bred a while back when I used the prefix "Estrella" happy :)

Congrats!

I have a 95.05 bitch up for sale, $100 on approval. Just got an offer from Oltari? Just wanted to see if anyone else has talked with them?

Oltari is a new kennel that will be joining our breed happy :)

I have communicated with Oltari and sold a couple of Kees, so you can be assured that your puppy is being sold to a trustworthy kennel happy :)

Naw, better to let her go to someone new to the breed. Induce new breeders, better for us all, yadda yadda.

Did you know?
A specialty show may be regional or national. A "Best in Show" win at a national specialty show is tremendously prestigious, indicating that the winning dog or bitch triumphed at a contest which attracted entries from the most serious fanciers of that breed in the country or continent. Some specialty shows attract international entries.
