BTW, does anyone else get a chuckle when they read "those very few breeds with forum activity" in a post on the forums and think "heh heh, they're talking about US!"? lol.

Must be -- haven't seen any activity in any of the other breed forums I have stuck my nose into *LOL*.

I love how active this forum is! It's great! Especially when even getting an email response from the breeders in one of my other breeds is impossible!

It surprises me slightly that we haven't had any more new kennels to our breed - with the active community, low stud fees, frequent high-level show wins, this breed is surely one of the best

BTW, I know Analeyn won't brag about it, so I'll tell y'all. Analyen Play The Game took a 2nd in show last night. That Wilfredo Feaster really seems to like keeshonds - so something to keeo in mind. Play The Game has taken a 3rd, and now this 2nd, in show under him.

Yay -- congrats to Analeyn. BIS at an all breeds show must be getting closer

I think so!! Im entering Play The Game in those low attendence (often higher priced!) shows hoping for just that! And ty. But Analeyn deserves the credit.

Agreed! We do have a bunch of new kennels, but it seems none have found their way into the forum yet. It also seems like fewer people are "looking for new breeds" in the main forums as well, which is sad. But, I must say, I dont want keeshonds to get TOO popular either!

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I feel I must vent!

I love my other breed, but hate the other breeders! They aren't helpful, or willing to communicate, they don't want to lower stud fees, or even respond to PMs. It gets so very frustrating and then I think, why can't all of the breeds just be like the Keeshond community!!! UGH!

So grateful for this great thread and community of helpful people!

Spyte, alas, all the other breeds were a lot more like us, once upon a time back when Showdog was young. Now it just means we're cooler than they are. lol.
