I should have one or two to enter in a specialty next month. If I can just get that last 19 up to 20 they'll be showing the next day, just waiting... |

I believe it takes 7 or 8 days (if memory serves right) to get from 19 to 20, but I always session past when training gets to 20, because I know there are those dang hidden decimals to account for. |

Hi! Once I regain control of my finances here, I will get back into Gordon Setters. It'll take time, but I'm working on it. I would love to own a Gordon for real, but can't swing that yet. |

I saw one in real life 8-10 years ago and completely fell in love with the looks and temperament. I talked with a breeder for a long time and asked so many questions, which he patiently answered. lol His we're hunting dogs. The two he brought were so relaxed about everything and were cool with a bunch of kids touching them. He said as a whole, that's how the breed generally is, but there is always the oddball. Would love one, but the grooming seems daunting. Whatever chooses me, is what I'll go with. |

quoteThose darn hidden decimals I always session past 20 too, but throw them in the ring right at 20 since their first few outings usually aren't that impressive anyway. |

I've been putting them in at 19ish, just to help with majors lately. Not looking like the help is needed with some of the entries I saw last night ... Lots of dogs entered! |

i enter as soon as they are old enough wether they are sessioned fully or not lol.....i like to keep the numbers going. Gordons are a lovely breed to own, but just lately some of the lines they have introduced from abroad i dont like as its brought in a temperament issue, but on the whole they are just goofballs lol |

Yay! Had a girl finish with three 5 point majors! Guess 93.4 is still pretty competitive! Hoping to finish her GCH as quickly. Fingers crossed! |

I'm working on bringing bigger top row traits and smaller bottom row traits (except for temp, that needs a bigger number). I'm just excited that the puppies from here on out will not have source dogs listed in their pedigree. |
