Hi,
I was just wondering and I think it would be interesting to see what everyone thinks is the most Australian dog! It's just for fun. What do you think? My vote is for the BLUE HEALER. |

The most australian breed in the australian dingo, and before anyone jumps up and down the dingo is a purebred recognised registered breed! The australian cattle dog (not blue heeler), australian stumpy tail cattle dog, australian kelpie and border collie all have the dingo in them to mould the breeds as we know them today. Tammy |

they are reallly good dogs there is a couple breeds right? I especially like Austarin Shepereds  they are smart and pretty dogs |

australian shepherds are not an Australian breed. they are from the US |

Sorry to burst your bubble, but... Dingoes are actually the "African Wolf". Its the most Australian dog though. |

I think that Australian Shepherds are my fav! I have bred and reasied them since I was born, and have done, Show, Agility, and now herding. I love Australian Shepherds! |

than again if u research into these breeds , they were actually imported to australia , as these breeds have mixture of breeds in them , to make them what they are now . So really the ACD , Kelpies and Dingoes are not true Australian Dogs . |

It doesn't matter if it was imported ages ago. The most Australian dog is a dog that has the most Aussie features and characteristics! |

Australian Sheperds are my fav. ---- and aussies are all an australian breed.They were breed to herd Australian sheep.So they are kinda of Australian Dogs. --- I Have 10 Aussies at home,and comepeted with them in comformation,herding,traking,weightpull,obedience, agility,and search and rescue. |
