Hi,
I was just wondering and I think it would be interesting to see what everyone thinks is the most Australian dog!
It's just for fun.
What do you think?

My vote is for the BLUE HEALER.

The most australian breed in the australian dingo, and before anyone jumps up and down the dingo is a purebred recognised registered breed!

The australian cattle dog (not blue heeler), australian stumpy tail cattle dog, australian kelpie and border collie all have the dingo in them to mould the breeds as we know them today.

than again if u research into these breeds , they were actually imported to australia , as these breeds have mixture of breeds in them , to make them what they are now .
So really the ACD , Kelpies and Dingoes are not true Australian Dogs .

It doesn't matter if it was imported ages ago. The most Australian dog is a dog that has the most Aussie features and characteristics!

Dingoes are NOT the african wolf, they are POSSIBLY descended from the indian wolf, but they are the most australian dog of the working dog, before the australian cattle dog and the kelpie, as both of those oriinally had dingo in them.
