Let the English Cocker take over your heart, they are the sweetest dogs to be around!
While they are a beautiful companion, they are also an excellent obedience dog, and maintain their heritage as a hunting companion. If you meet a English Cocker who has a hunting title, you have met one of the hardest working hunting dogs around! They are required to hunt in various types of terrain, retrieve on land and in the water! If you have the opportunity to watch one of thier trials, DO IT! Of course if you hang around too long someone in the club will sign you up to work. (Shagging birds out of the field all day is hard work)
