In my seven years in this kennel, I've had a handful and I'm always surprised when it happens.
GCH Comet Aston Martin earned this honor today at the Solcintra All Breed 94 show. He's a great-great grandkid of my top Toy: https://www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=18642522 Sometimes I think about why I still play and then I remember - this is why! Thanks for letting me brag |

I can so relate. One of my dogs in another kennel also got BIS today and I am always totally shocked. I honestly do not know how many Bests in Show I have gotten over the 17 years and originally 10 kennels. I know it's just a handful. It freaks me out every time. So, congratulations!!! |

Thank you! And aw, I know for a fact that Peter Payne is an ACS fan: https://www.showdog.com/shows/judge_info.aspx?judge=Peter+Payne It's definitely part of the long game with these judges. I wish that old part of the game that had new judges introduced and old judges retire was still functioning. Perhaps we'd have different breeds recognized more often for the top prize. |
