Using Handlers

Handlers

A list of all handlers currently in the game can be found on the "Handler List" page along with summary statistics about how well they have performed in the last month. The ranking according to their Rating for the 25 most preferred  is also found on the "Choose Handler" page in the Judges List. Handlers differ in their skill and personality however the nature of these differences are up to you to figure out.

Unlike judges, handlers do not retire.

Handler Restrictions/Penalties

Handlers only handle one dog and one bitch in each breed in each show. Handlers are assigned on a first come, first served basis.

If your dog's condition is too low, you may not be able to choose the handler you want. Top handlers will not handle a dog in poor condition (includes Show Obedience, Muscle Tone, Condition, Coat Condition) and these handlers will not appear in the list of handlers to select for that dog until their condition is high enough.

If you use a large number of handlers in one show you may be charged a Excessive Handler Usage Fee.

Withdrawing from a show after you have assigned a handler to your dog results in a charge of $5.
