Judge Info - Brian Thomas

Showdog.com Judge Since Tuesday, January 31, 2012
Retirement Announced 4/30/2012

Actually prefers to see the owner of the dog handling it. Moderate level of breed bias. Has a tendency to like dogs the more often they're seen. Thinks a dog needs to earn its championship before it should even be considered for best of breed. Thinks dogs should be compared to how good they are vs the rest of their breed rather than overall quality vs all dogs.

Did you know?
The figure 8 exercise requires the team to heel in a figure 8 pattern either on or off leash. Generally two of the ring stewards will assist the judge with this exercise by acting as "posts", standing 8 feet apart, that the team walks around to form the loops of the figure 8.
