Ch. Lovely Indian Summer Vom Trieberg, CD. "Leonie" Leonie just finished her Championship! Yay! I handled/trained her to her CD., and of her Championshp, I handled her for all but one of the majors. (I owe a huge friend to my friend Linda for taking her to that show!!) She is the mother of 13 from 2 litters. She has a Ch. daughter in NE and a Ch. son in Germany from her first litter. Her second litter is now 7 monthes old, and there are 3 show prospects, including a boy who lives in Germany with Leonie's breeder. Leonie will be working on Draft work and Rally this spring, and water work (again) this summer (2007) to move twards getting her VN!

Kilyka's Fireside Black Fire CD "Monk" Monk is the proud father of 17 puppies from 3 litters. including Leonie's litter born under my kennel name. I handled and trained him to his CD and his Ch. Monk will continue training in the spring for the titles needed to complete his VN!!
What is a VN?
VN= Versatile Newfoundland. Newfies were bred to do a variety of working tasks. The breed today consists of many beutiful specimins, but it is rare to see a dog that is a good physical example of the breed as well as a good example of the working dog that newfs used to be. In order to earn a VN title, the dog must first complete 5 other titles: Ch., CD, WD (Water Dog) WRD (Water Rescue Dog) and DD (Draft Dog) To date there are still less than 300 VN newfoundlands in the United States!
This kennel has bred Champions in 5 breeds: Tibetean Mastifs, Leonbergers, Portugese Water Dogs, Saint Bernards and French Bulldogs. And I owe a big THANK YOU to everyone who has finished a Naiad bred dog!! In real life (as in the game) I have an appreciation for the beauty of every breed! As I can't have every breed in real life, I will continue to play with different breeds in the game!! All of the breeds I play with in all of my kennels are breeds I would like to have in real life.
Naiad will now focus on French Bulldogs for a while!
not in the working group I know, but time to branch out. And I have the option of getting one in real life soon!
Naiad has bred 116 Ch. to date!
