Read the Beginners guide to Basic Accounts and the Help section.
First you need to decide on which breed to concentrate on and then mail the top two or three breeders in that breed and tell them you are starting out and would they sell you something nice.
To find the top kennels in a breed, click on a dogs' page of the breed you want. At the top, with its details will be a clickable link of the breed...ie Shiba Inn. Click that and then look at the list of top kennels.
Or to find the current top dogs in the breed, on the same page, on the right hand side is a link to top dogs. Then you can see the higher SOP numbers in the breed and will give you an idea of the quality of the puppies you might buy.

Mostly puppies are sold for $100, maybe very good ones $2/300. Don't spend more than that, or you are being fleeced!
Remember, that as a basic account you can only breed puppies for 30 days from day one that the basic account was made.

Did you know?
A specialty show may be regional or national. A "Best in Show" win at a national specialty show is tremendously prestigious, indicating that the winning dog or bitch triumphed at a contest which attracted entries from the most serious fanciers of that breed in the country or continent. Some specialty shows attract international entries.
