I am probably a couple of months, or so, from breaking 90.
Show quality SOP is just over 95.

I have worked on the TNB with these as I recall.....with the show dogs...way back then, their feet and TNB were the last to get higher.
I am also concentrating on gait.

12 years later and it is still fun. Sessioning and Showing can get boring as can just source breeding alone. For me, doing both, is fun happy :)

Congrats on your Source-Bred adventure!

I am also on a Source-Bred mission with Lowchen.
Although I am just basically starting out on this endeavor, (only been at this for a few months), I am very pleased with the results I have gotten so far.
Using the old system of SOP, my highest is a Gen. 12 at 62.8-13.5

I hope that I have the patience to keep this going for as long as you have!

Just don't give them names. You will run out of them after awhile.

So would you suggest that I just do all my dogs names like I did my admin/source dogs?

Caulfeild..wonderful work! Will they be competitive in a year or so? I'll have to up my game lol. happy :)

I'm dabbling in source breeding and name mine like this Cwtch D(orB)92.50*G*F/hqfq12%
Kennel name, sex, SOP, best traits in capitols, new numbers*,other good traits in lower case, % is % of source blood.

I'm only just starting really after taking a break from breeding in this kennel so I hope I'll be able to keep up, it takes lots of time to sort through them. Good luck.

Caulfeilds Kennels-
So if I understand you, one shouldn't name dogs in the regular sense...
I did go way back in your lines and found this one:
www.showdog.com/dog.aspx?id=3795828

Now should I start using the Alphabet system or just go with what you are doing with your current dog names?
I would be thankful for your help.

OK, that was early on, I soon learned that naming them created a problem. I breed identical generations ie Gen 10 to a Gen 10 and so on. this is why you see that i use the aolphabet so I can keep track then I use their SOP ie A-86.25 etc. In their call name section you can put anything. If it is an especially good dog i might put *** in the call name. You can do what you like, this is just what I do to keep track.

I was hospitalized back in 2007 and was unconscious etc. Because i was organized, my friend was able to look after things until i got back in the game.

Edited to say, I am Caulfeilds...LOL

hahaha
OK then, I guess it is all about being able to decipher ones own work/pedigrees....And what ones preference in naming would be...

Thank you very much for your help and ideas!

El D.

Edited to add- I am glad that you recovered from whatever caused you to be unconscious- Glad your are back in the game!

Did you know?
The third obedience title is a UD, or "Utility Dog", which is earned through competition in the Utility obedience class
