If I retire a dog I just finished, can she still be bred? Or does this prevent her from doing anything at all except sitting on the couch.

She can still be shown in obedience, but not conformation, and she cannot be bred as she will be sterilized. Also, she will still count against your dog limit.

Actually a retired dog does count towards your total dog limit in a Basic Kennel.

Did you know?
A specialty show is a dog show which reviews a single breed, unlike other dog shows, particularly conformation shows, which are generally referred to as "all-breed" because they are open to all breeds recognized by the sponsoring kennel club.
