Wow,

Not one but two of them (from two different litters, same sire). One male, one female. 98 SOP

I imagine krisk is loong past 98 now - but I'm really pleased that after taking some time off showing to do some hardcore breeding, plus the introduction of a nice Aztec stud, and I've now bred a 97.9! Since the highest I'd previously bred was 97.5 I am thrilled at the jump happy :)

Congrads, and what a pretty girl. I am glad things are going well for you. I am hoping to see us climb in the show placings, I would love to see an Elkhound go BIS sometime (maybe this year, we aren't done yet).

As for the highest SOP, it is now (as of today) 98.2

Wow! Huge congratulations - with parents like that she was never going to be an also-ran happy :)

I had a bitch I really wanted to put to Blue Boomer, but unfortunately I'm barred from spending any more money at your kennels for the time being ... LOL

OK so not any higher than krisk's bitch, but I think my boy might be the highest SOP male?

Start the countdown until he's old enough for stud! He's all your lines anyway krisk, you've sold me some wonderful dogs.

I've found that the bitches are always generally nicer than the dogs, annoying really as they're so much more hassle to show.

Thanks happy :) Can't decide whether to session her or not, I'd already told myself I wasn't showing any more bitches ... too annoying taking time off for them to whelp!

I think you should give her a shot at showing. Maybe not campaign her, but certainly to finish her.

Anyway.

Introducing...98.7

This girl is 98.7 with a 9.9 head - but interestingly, in the table view of my kennel her head shows as a perfect ten, so suggesting she must be a very high 9.9?

98.9 who also shows a 10 for head in the table view. Thanks for pointing that feature out Xanilla, I had never looked at them before and I have found several 10's there that aren't on the pup's page.

Did you know?
A specialty show may be regional or national. A "Best in Show" win at a national specialty show is tremendously prestigious, indicating that the winning dog or bitch triumphed at a contest which attracted entries from the most serious fanciers of that breed in the country or continent. Some specialty shows attract international entries.
