hi there. my gorgeous elkhound's fur is getting sparse and course on her hind legs and one flank. any ideas why? she gets lots of fish and a high quality mixed diet. is this a skin problem or simply age (she's 9)? i really have little faith in vets these days. they all think she's an akita and want to give antibiotics for everything...
