Can I rename adult dogs I've purchased? I'm probably missing something. Thanks in advance! Mel

I don't think a purchased dog can be renamed but I'm not positive. I believe it has to be less than 14 days and you have to be the breeder.

I believe if you breed the dog you can rename it up to 30 days. However, if you buy a named dog no matter how young you cannot rename it. When someone makes me an offer on a dog I always ask if they have a preferred name.

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
