We're going to pick up our newest stud dog. We're pretty excited and we're getting him for a pretty good deal. Someone bought him and kept him as a pet for a while, then fell into hardship. Then another person got him from them to show but has to go into surgery in the next month or two, so are re-homing most their dogs. So, now we are going to get him today. He's had quite the journey.
We're going to try him out in our little family and see how he goes. We are trying to come up with some names and are having some difficulty. We're thinking Hugo, Barnaby, or some other ones I can't remember. Any suggestions?

He is another corso. Super friendly. The last people were trying to say that is he food aggressive, but we haven't had to deal with that yet. I figure we will take it one step at a time and see what is wrong and fix what we can.
Thanks though!

Not yet. The first people thought the AKC papers just meant that he was already registered. The second people got him, then shortly after found out they had to go for surgery. So, we get to send in the name. What luck!

He's doing great. We just love him to bits. He loves to go out. His favorite place to go is the drive through (lol). Here in a week or two, I'm thinking about trying to take him to the pet store. We have our one female in heat right now, so that's why we are waiting.

Did you know?
The sit for exam is a modified version of the Stand for Exam. It is generally used in novice level classes and requires the handler to order the dog to sit and then to move away from the dog the length of the leash. The judge will then approach the dog and pet the dog's head.
